Dallas

The Dallas Chapter began in early 2000, and since then has seen an upward spiral. Volunteers have shown unprecedented dedication and effort to bring the chapter on the national map. Over the years, numerous events have been organized to raise funds towards eradicating curable blindness in India. The most notable of them being the musical concert in 2007 by HariHaran- Indian playback and ghazal singer who also happens to be a two-time national award winner. A sold-out show, it set the pace for future successful events.

The team has held a successful Dandia event in 2009, Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy concert in 2016, and most recently the Walkathon in 2017. This event helped generate funds with low investment, and energized the volunteers. The Chapter is now geared up to work towards scaling its efforts, and helping Sankara achieve its goal.
