The Southern California chapter has a group of amazing volunteers of all ages who come together to put on various fundraising events throughout the year. They have organized large scale Bollywood events such as the sold out Sonu Nigam concerts in Los Angeles. Their expertise also lies in spreading the word about Sankara Eye Foundation through more intimate events like an annual walkathon, the Penny for an Eye drive put on by their youth volunteers, and badminton tournaments. The most recent fundraiser the SoCal team organized was an annual Holi event in Simi Valley that was a huge success. The Southern California chapter has many volunteers that span Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Ventura County. They strive to host events that cater to these different areas, and are similarly always looking for enthusiastic volunteers from all over Southern California.
